Resilience Building Series: For Those Serving Youth
Every young person deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported. Yet many carry the invisible weight of stress, adversity, or trauma that can deeply affect how they learn, connect, and thrive. Adults working with youth, whether in schools, programs, or the community—are uniquely positioned to make a difference by creating environments of trust, regulation, and resilience.
This Trauma-Responsive Series is designed to equip you with practical tools and knowledge to better understand how trauma impacts the brain, body, and behavior—and, more importantly, how you can respond in ways that foster healing and growth.
Each session, led by CRI’s expert instructors, will provide innovative information and practical strategies, including:
Insights from brain research on how trauma impacts learning and behavior
Regulation and co-regulation practices that support both youth and adults
Approaches to strengthen connection with staff, families, and youth
Structures that enhance resilience and create trauma responsive environments
Whether you are a teacher, counselor, mentor, or anyone working with young people, this series offers a space to learn, reflect, and build capacity for creating trauma-responsive environments. By integrating these practices, you not only support the well-being of youth, you also nurture your own resilience and sustainability in this vital work.
