Welcome to the Trauma-Informed Educator Micro-Credential Recertification course. This refresher experience is designed to help educators revisit key trauma-informed principles, reflect on current practice, and reaffirm their understanding of the KISS Framework and its application in educational settings.
Originally developed through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education awarded to the University of the Incarnate Word Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program and Our Lady of the Lake University School of Psychology, this curriculum was informed by a diverse panel of 32 national experts to ensure a comprehensive and research-based approach to trauma-informed education.

As a recertification learner, you may navigate freely throughout the course to review concepts and resources most relevant to your professional practice before completing the recertification assessment. Scoring 80 points or above is required to receive your recertification
